Wear Texas on your wrist

Waterloo was the original name given to Austin. This vibrant, and constantly evolving city started out as a slow-paced refuge to escape the intense Texas summers (due to its founding along the bank of the Colorado River). It is a city that is unique, historical, and has its own sense of style and energy. These are all the same traits of the Waterloo. The design of this piece incorporates a traditional, clean vibe, and hopefully reminds us all to slow down and enjoy our time.

You can choose either a Swiss mechanical or Swiss quartz powered model in either brushed steel or rose gold PVD case finishes. A few unique features like special thermal blued steel hands (mechanical models), a genuine sapphire flat crystal with 6 layers of anti-reflective coating, highly polished stepped bezel, and a unique linen textured dial all make for a truly special piece.

Waterloo History

Vice President Mirabeau B. Lamar visited Waterloo during a buffalo-hunting expedition in 1838, he proposed that the republic's capital, then located in Houston, be relocated near the present-day Ann W Richards Congress bridge in what is now, central Austin. In 1839, the site was officially chosen as the seventh and final location for the capital of the Republic of Texas. It was incorporated under the name "Waterloo". Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to Austin in honor of Stephen F. Austin, the "Father of Texas" and the republic's first secretary of state.
