Littlefield:
Austin's first office building

The Littlefield is named after Austin's first office building, built in 1912. This is really a tool watch for those who conduct business in multiple timezones, so it aligns to the use of such an historic Austin building.

When I think of Austin and the incredible history, weirdness, and character of the city, and see how it has evolved today into sky scrapers, corporate HQ, and more technology than ever seemed possible, it led me down the path of expanding and challenging DuFrane offerings as well.

Swiss Sellita SW330-2, top grade. A true GMT for tracking two time zones: 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 56 hours of power reserve, behind an open sapphire case back.

Every Littlefield is regulated and timed in my Austin shop before it ships, to within 4 seconds a day.

Bracelet and strap.
Both in the box.

Every Littlefield ships on a solid end link 5-link bracelet with the quick adjust system, up to 10mm without tools, and a full grain curved-end leather strap in the box.

Packaged in the DuFrane leather delivery pouch.

I've had a lifelong love affair with mechanical watches. From my first watch at age 8 to inheriting my grandfather's old Wyler from my mother, they've always been central to my life.

Every DuFrane is built by hand in my Austin shop. I regulate each movement. I test every piece.

Swiss Sellita SW330-2 top grade · 316L steel · Automatic GMT · 100m

Case

316L marine grade stainless steel, DLC coated for up to 5x more scratch resistance than untreated 316L. Beautifully polished case sides and chamfers. 39mm across, 47mm lug to lug, 12mm thin with the curved crystal, 20mm lugs. 5.5oz (155g) with the bracelet.

Crystal

Sapphire domed crystal with 5x anti-reflective coating. Open case back with sapphire crystal.

Crown

6.5mm screw-down crown with multiple silicone gaskets.

Bezel

120 click bi-directional, solid 316L stainless steel.

Dial

Blue or white sunburst dial with Swiss SuperLumiNova BGW9 lume on the hands and numerals. Colour-matched date wheel.

Movement

Swiss Sellita SW330-2 automatic GMT (2 time zone tracking), top grade. 56 hour power reserve, 4Hz / 28,800 bph, 25 jewels. Regulated to +/- 4 seconds per day.

Bracelet and strap

Solid end link bracelet and curved end full grain leather strap, both included. A tiny drop of Loctite Purple 222 on each screw pin when sizing the bracelet keeps the pins seated; Steven does this when bracelet sizing is selected.
